Points without having a licence are not logicalIn last week’s News it says that a teenager was jailed for Asbo breaches.
It goes on to say that the defendant admitted in Aldershot Magistrates’ Court, among other things, driving without a licence and insurance.
I am a simple, logical person, but I cannot see how a person with no driving licence can, as it says, have six penalty points added to it by our learned magistrates when he doesn’t have a licence. Perhaps the Chairman of the Bench can explain the logic of that one? Surely it would have been more sensible to make him take a driving test first?
